The McLaren Automotive company declassified the open updating of the MP4-12C supercar which has received the name Spider.
The novelty received the developing karbonovy roof, which being cleaned in a compartment behind seats for the speed to 30 kilometers per hour. This process takes 17 seconds.
Because of the mechanism which is responsible for work of top, the supercar heavy in comparison with a compartment on 40 kgs (to 1474 kgs). Besides, the roadster received the wind screen and system of protection of passengers when capsizing.
The McLaren MP4-12C Spider supercar is actuated by the 625-strong V8 engine in volume 3,8 liters and the seven-step robotized transmission with two couplings. From scratch to hundred kilometers per hour the novelty is accelerated in 3,1 seconds (as well as a compartment), and to 160 kilometers per hour — in 6,1 seconds (on 0,2 more slowly than a compartment). In a mile quarter (402 meters) the car passes the Dregovy distance in 10,8 seconds.
The maximum speed of the car with the lifted roof makes 326 kilometers per hour, and from the combined – 313 kilometers per hour.
In Great Britain the McLaren company already started to accept orders for a novelty. The prices for model begin from 195,5 thousand pounds sterling — on 20 thousand pounds more expensive a compartment and for 300 pounds is cheaper than one of the main competitors — Ferrari 458 Italia Spider.
