McLaren P1

The flagman supercar of the British brand — the successor of legendary F1, appeared in photos in a serial look.

The final version differs from a prototype only ventilating openings in forward a bumper and other lattice behind.

Installation from a petrol turbo engine 3.8 V8 and an electric motor gives out the total power of 916 hp and 900 Nm. Transmission — seven-band robotized with two couplings. Only on electricity the novelty passes to 10 km.

From a place to 100 km/h of P1 it is capable to disperse less than for 3,0 second, 0-200 km/h less than in 7,0 seconds, 0-300 km/h approximately in 17,0 seconds (-11,0 in comparison with legendary McLaren F1).

The novelty dashboard — completely electronic. So in the Race mode the combination of devices developed on canons of Formula One is removed, thus the rear wing rises in an optimum position.

In salon almost all is executed from a coal plastic. By default P1 is completed with climate control, the navigation system and the Meridian audio system, however floor rugs won't be — they are offered for surcharge.

Seats — special pride of McLaren: they almost have no soft parts therefore 10,5 kg weigh. The back can be fixed at an angle 28–32 ° to be located in the car with a helmet on the head, thus height of a seat is established under the owner.

The world premiere of the McLaren P1 will be held at the Geneva motor show, which opens on March 5. Printing model does not exceed 500 cars. The starting price of EUR 996 000.
