McLaren P1, now on video

Making its official world debut in the form of a concept at the Paris motor show, McLaren supercar P1 was met with incredible fuss. While the first sketches and teaser copies were a bit clumsy, design proved to be much more attractive, in a personal meeting with a new rising star in the world of extreme speeds.

We have brought you from Paris live pictures of the car, but unfortunately, remove the video of the press conference and premiere was not possible. Fortunately, McLaren offers us take a look at this short video showing the process of transformation of the successor of the McLaren F1 from thin air-lines in the finished vehicle.

As we learned from the designer of the company, Frank Stefenson, the body of P1 was developed not only with thoughts on style, but also considering dynamics of future supercar. Differently, calling of McLaren P1 is full domination of tracks and roads of the whole world, and the aerodynamic design of the car will play not the last role in achievement of this purpose.

At present McLaren doesn't extend concerning TTH P1 but it is rumored that the car will be equipped with option 3,8-liter the V8 twin turbo, used in MP4-12C, and hybrid system KERS. The total volume of capacity will very possibly step over a threshold in 800 horsepowers.
