Renault Alpine A110-50 concept

On the eve of the Monaco Grand Prix the Renault Sport Technologies company – racing division of the French automaker, presented the concept Alpine A110-50 sporty coupe constructed in honor of 50-year anniversary of original model of the revived brand.



In a basis of a sport car the chassis from the charged hatchback of Renault Megane Trophy laid down. At identical wheel base of a compartment has length 4 330 mm, width – in 1 960 mm and height – in only 1 230 mm. And thanks to the lightweight carbon fiber body weight of the vehicle is 880 kg.


In Alpin's design A110-50 elements of a concept of DeZir are traced, the compartment received an air inlet on a roof, the light-emitting diode optics, doors opening up, a massive back rear wing and 21-inch rims with the central fastening.

In minimalist salon of a compartment the sports chairs fitted by alkantary, a wheel are established has a flat rim, and protection is provided by a racing framework of safety.

In the movement Alpine A 110-50 Concept brings the 400-strong V6 motor in working volume 3,5 liters, giving-out peak torque into 422 Nanometers, being transferred to wheels of a back axis by means of six-step sekventalny transmission. Dynamic characteristics of a compartment aren't specified.

Besides, the car can brag of powerful brakes, completely adjustable suspension bracket with Sachs shock-absorbers and pneumatic jacks. About possible start of a concept in production it is reported nothing.
