Ferrari didn't remain the only Italian company which has shown in Switzerland a new mid-engined sports car. The serial model of long-awaited Alfa Romeo 4C, at last, made the public debut, having struck audience of the Geneva motor show.
Nevertheless, visited Geneva 4C is not standard model, and exclusive "Launch Edition" which will be released by the limited circulation of all in 1000 of cars. In Europe, the novelty will manage to buyers in 60 thousand euros that is slightly more expensive, than it was expected, but nevertheless is the quite good transaction if to consider car characteristics.
Alfa Romeo 4C represents the double sports car with the central arrangement of the engine, and the carbonic monocoque. Turbocharged 1.75-liter engine squeezes out 240 hp and 386 Nm of torque, and works together with a 7-step transmission with double coupling. At first sight, these figures can seem not especially impressive, but you remember that 4C only about 950 kg weigh. With such equipped weight, no wonder, that the car exchanges the first hundred in 4,5 seconds, and easily reaches limited electronics of the maximum speed in 250 km/h.
Launch Edition is nearly identical to the standard 4C, except that Mr. consumer choice will be offered to the two available colors: white Carrara or red Alfa. The car is also decorated with exclusive badges, blacked out rear diffuser, LED headlamps, and unique wheels. The interior also gets some special touches including Alcantara trim, contrast stitching and the plate with the serial number of the car.
