The serial roadster of Pininfarina Sergio was more expensive than LaFerrari

The conceptual roadster of Pininfarina Sergio constructed to the Geneva motor show-2013 in memory of the former head of the company Sergio Pininfarina, is estimated at 3 million euros (3,9 million dollars), reports Carscoop.

The Pininfarina studio expects to let out no more than six copies of the roadster constructed on the basis of Ferrari 458 and deprived of a windshield.  Because of this design feature the driver and the passenger, most likely, should carry helmets during driving on European Union roads.  Helmets and offices for their placement in forward doors are already provided by developers from Pininfarina.

However, if the small-scale production car will be launched, the roadster can still get the windshield. Fabio Filippini, head designer Pininfarina, said in an interview with Autonews Europe, that specialists already have a pretty good idea of what to change in order to "make friends" car with EU rules.

The 1280-kg roadster is set in motion by the 4,3-liter V8 motor from Ferrari 458, developing 570 hp and working together with the seven-step robotized transmission with two couplings.  From scratch to "one hundred" Pininfarina Sergio it is accelerated less than in 3,4 seconds.

It is remarkable that estimated at 3 million euros the roadster was more than twice more expensive than the most expensive Ferrari supercar – hybrid 950-strong LaFerrari, on sale for 1,3 million euros (1,68 million dollars).
